Responsibilities
- Serve as the DevSecOps expert for AIDETL interns and staff, providing guidance on strategy, architecture, policy, and implementation.
- Deliver DevSecOps training, workshops, briefings, and mentorship covering DevSecOps concepts, MBSE, digital twins, and AI testing.
- Develop, operate, and maintain DevSecOps processes, tools, automation pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing capabilities.
- Author and maintain deployment, monitoring, and automation scripts; security controls; documentation; system diagrams; and configuration management baselines.
- Manage virtualized and containerized assets, virtual and physical network configurations, servers, communications, and developer/test engineering support.
- Design, integrate, test, and initially deploy applications in enterprise virtualized and containerized environments.
- Collect and present performance metrics, troubleshoot system problems, and drive platform improvements that increase availability and productivity.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to assess software changes affecting development and testing activities.
- Support curriculum development, corporate knowledge-library content, project execution, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or information technology, or relevant technical experience and technical certifications.
- Seven years of related professional work experience preferred.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, IT, or security automation supporting multiple teams.
- Knowledge of private and commercial cloud best practices and private or hybrid cloud design, operation, monitoring, and deployment.
- Strong experience with Linux and practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization development, security, deployment, and management.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, VMware vCenter, and VMware ESXi.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, own initiatives from start to finish, and adapt to evolving curriculum and mission priorities.
- Strong project management, documentation, interpersonal, communication, troubleshooting, training, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work at the AIDETL location as needed, including daily, and willingness to travel.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government Secret security clearance are required.
