Responsibilities
- Build software applications and deliver enhancements for fund accounting and trade processing technology.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop software solutions using agile methodologies.
- Manage system upgrades and features for resiliency, automation, and integration.
- Drive architecture modernization of core platforms using AI tools.
- Work with DevOps teams to resolve operational issues and leverage CI/CD practices.
- Continuously improve platforms with the latest technologies.
- Participate in transitioning applications to cloud platforms for enhanced performance.
- Collaborate with other technology teams on cross-departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Java technologies.
- Knowledge of financial products including fixed income, credit, equities, and derivatives.
- Strong SQL development skills and experience with large-scale data warehouses.
- Experience with messaging architectures and high-volume transaction processing systems.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful services.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Redis and MongoDB.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience designing interactive web interfaces using Angular/React.
