Responsibilities
- Develop, design, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate software applications throughout the software development life cycle.
- Create moderately complex front-end and back-end code and program specifications across multiple platforms and projects.
- Analyze and modify applications, databases, and code; perform unit testing, validation, corrective measures, and documentation.
- Participate in client-facing meetings, joint venture discussions, and vendor partnership teams to determine solution approaches.
- Support application standards, controls, procedures, monitoring, PCI security compliance, resource estimates, and implementation plans.
- Assist with on-the-job training and provide guidance to other software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically at least four years of professional experience coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more front-end or back-end languages and moderate knowledge of the corresponding technology.
- Experience with two or more modern enterprise programming languages, APIs, external services, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred qualifications include six or more years of relevant professional experience and experience with IBM Rational Tools.
- Working knowledge of applicable operating systems, databases, back-end and front-end technologies, web frameworks, development tools, mobile platforms, or machine-learning technologies.
