Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale automated testing solutions across backend services, end-to-end integration workflows, and user-facing features.
- Create and maintain resilient automation frameworks and test suites at scale.
- Develop test strategies covering contract, integration, component, and API or microservices validation.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous test execution.
- Simulate complex payment flows and qualify integrations with regional ecosystems.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive quality earlier in the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and engineering project managers across global teams.
- Lead technical quality initiatives, mentor peers, and advance testing standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test suites for backend services or end-to-end integration flows.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, API and microservices validation, test strategy design, and root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong English and Mandarin communication skills.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in SDET, backend automation engineering, or distributed-systems testing.
- Preferred: experience with service virtualization, simulation tools, and contract testing frameworks.
- Preferred: understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, containerized cloud environments, and canary releases.
- Preferred: familiarity with high-availability distributed systems, financial technology, or digital payment ecosystems.
- Preferred: experience using AI-assisted workflows and LLM-driven tooling for test authoring, failure triage, or QA productivity.
- Preferred: experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring peers, and driving quality standards in ambiguous environments.
