Responsibilities
- Define and communicate technical and architectural vision for cloud platform systems in the autonomous vehicle context.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain modular cloud-based systems and services.
- Ensure efficient data storage and processing in accordance with security policies and cloud security best practices.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Review existing systems and recommend improvements to architecture, services, and processes.
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.
- Evaluate technology assumptions and implementation alternatives.
- Collaborate with teams to evolve system architecture and the overall product landscape.
- Plan and design service ecosystems for future trucks.
- Own key parts of the technical roadmap and advise teams on cloud architecture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and proactively drive technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable professional experience.
- Professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience with software development, networks, equipment, and the infrastructure required for development.
- Experience conceiving and implementing complex software solutions in an international context.
- Knowledge of Git and cloud-based services and tools; AWS experience is a plus.
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, PaaS, alerting, monitoring, DevOps principles, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and common software design patterns.
- Python and Flask knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of a programming language, preferably Java, and proven software development skills is a plus.
- Experience with SAFe, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Strong self-organization, ownership, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous-learning abilities.
