Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core components of a distributed storage platform.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested C++ code.
- Debug complex production issues and improve system performance.
- Perform crash dump analysis and troubleshoot memory leaks, handle leaks, deadlocks, and race conditions.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, customer-centric solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least four years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Understanding of Linux and Windows internals, including process, memory, storage, and networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with debugging and troubleshooting tools such as gdb, WinDbg, ProcMon, Wireshark, and tcpdump.
- Experience with microservices and service architecture, client-server architecture, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software development best practices.
- Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
