Responsibilities

  • Research and prototype AI solutions that leverage Intel products and optimize performance for customer adoption.
  • Develop open-source AI libraries, models, tools, end-to-end software stacks, model pipelines, and runtime accelerators.
  • Optimize model performance through adjustments to models, parameters, code, quantization, frameworks, algorithms, and hardware.
  • Collaborate with AI algorithm, framework, product development, architecture, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to customers and partners and support application pre-enablement.
  • Create benchmark collateral, identify important workloads, and inform future product requirements and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant master's degree, with practical preparation through internships, projects, coursework, or hands-on training.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and AI framework optimization techniques.
  • Practical experience with PyTorch and/or ONNX, including custom modules, forward passes, or inference pipelines.
  • Understanding of neural network architectures including Transformers, Attention mechanisms, CNNs, Diffusion models, and MoE.
  • Preferred: experience with llama.cpp, vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, Hugging Face TGI, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Whisper ASR, FastSpeech/VITS, Stable Diffusion, or YOLO.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies are preferred.
