Responsibilities

  • Design, code, orchestrate, and test scalable GenAI services, chatbots, and autonomous agents.
  • Deploy, maintain, scale, monitor, and performance-optimize LLM infrastructure in secure on-premise Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Develop and optimize RAG pipelines connected to internal knowledge databases and implement MCP tools for standardized, secure interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with Airbus Defence and Space security and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot issues, and create technical documentation and best practices.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts for new AI use cases and contribute to the technical roadmap.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3–4 years in AI projects.
  • Very strong Python programming skills.
  • Proven GenAI expertise developing LLM applications, chatbots, and agents, with experience in inference frameworks such as vLLM and SGLang, vector databases such as Qdrant and Chroma, and AI agents such as Claude Code and OpenCode.
  • Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience covering deployment, scaling, monitoring, and container networking in on-premise environments.
  • Proficiency with Git, including branching strategies and code reviews.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
  • Preferred experience includes RAG architectures, MCP, CI/CD pipelines, logging and monitoring, AI cybersecurity, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
