Responsibilities
- Develop self-service code and end-to-end cloud deployment automation for application stacks.
- Provide roadmap and vision for scalable, robust cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize highly reliable cloud architectures and distributed production systems.
- Analyze network usage, role management, CDN, domains, infrastructure security, performance, scalability, and availability.
- Operate and improve continuous integration servers, monitoring, testing, and infrastructure automation.
- Lead cloud infrastructure architecture and design across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Exert technical influence across multiple teams and collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 7+ years of total experience; a master's degree is preferred as an alternative educational qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, Cloud DevOps, Cloud SRE, infrastructure as code, or cloud infrastructure engineering is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience leading system design and architecture using AWS or Azure services is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience building and operating infrastructure as code and high-performance, highly available, scalable distributed systems is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience building and managing high-performance, highly available, scalable hybrid-cloud environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Python or Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, cloud services, and automated application-stack deployments.
- AWS Advanced Architecting and Developing on AWS certifications are preferred.
- Team-leading experience, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and excellent cross-group collaboration and communication are required.
