Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Run infrastructure supporting cloud services, on-premises services, factory-floor software, ML training, and edge devices.
- Operate AWS and Kubernetes platforms, including cluster operations, GPU workload scheduling, deployment pipelines, and edge-device support.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps with safe merge-to-apply workflows.
- Troubleshoot networking across VPCs, routing, VPNs, DNS, TLS, overlay networks, and packet captures.
- Develop infrastructure tooling and glue code in Go or Python and debug production service code.
- Operate observability systems and improve the reliability and trustworthiness of alerts.
- Apply secure infrastructure practices including least-privilege access, private endpoints, secrets management, and credential detection.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience running production infrastructure with hands-on Kubernetes.
- Fluency in Terraform and GitOps, including infrastructure CI/CD practices.
- Strong networking fundamentals covering VPCs, routing, VPNs, DNS, TLS, overlay networks, and packet-level troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Go or Python for tooling and glue code, with the ability to read and debug production service code.
- Experience operating an observability stack and improving alert quality.
- Security-minded infrastructure practices, including least-privilege access, avoiding public endpoints, secure secrets handling, and detecting committed credentials.
- Preferred experience with on-premises Kubernetes, edge or fleet operations, arm64 Linux devices, over-the-air rollouts, offline-tolerant design, organization-scale WireGuard networks, robotics or industrial hardware, and ITAR or CMMC environments.
