Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Analyze code and applications, identify system improvements and vulnerabilities, and perform testing and debugging.
- Design, install, support, and maintain application systems, including L1, L2, and L3 support.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Resolve application issues and make decisions using acquired technical experience and established precedents.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and escalate technology, risk, compliance, and control issues appropriately.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in application development.
- Knowledge of Java, Ab Initio, data warehouse systems, microservices, and batch processes.
- Experience with application support and maintenance across L1, L2, and L3 levels.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear written and verbal communication and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
