Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React micro-frontend solutions and high-scale web applications for a payments platform.
- Add new payment methods and extend existing platform capabilities.
- Deliver features, bug fixes, reliability improvements, and production-ready changes through automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Build frontend telemetry, error logging, feature flags, gradual rollouts, and debugging workflows for production issues.
- Develop accessible and internationalized interfaces using shared design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Write unit, integration, end-to-end, and automated accessibility tests.
- Collaborate with backend partners on API contracts and distributed-system concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience at a mid-to-senior level with ownership of production services in distributed systems environments.
- Strong TypeScript and React experience, including functional components, hooks, context, and custom hooks.
- Experience with Webpack, code splitting, micro-frontends, and Module Federation or similar remote-module architectures.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL, Apollo Client caching and reactive variables, and type-safe generated hooks.
- Experience with React Router, complex forms, frontend telemetry, feature flags, accessibility, internationalization, and shared design systems.
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, TestCafe, Cypress, or Playwright, plus automated accessibility testing tools.
- CI/CD experience with GitLab CI or equivalent, along with Git, ESLint, Prettier, code reviews, and merge requests.
- Strong working knowledge of backend and distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and multi-datastore consistency.
- Enterprise, billing, payments, or high-scale mission-critical frontend experience is preferred.
- Ability to use coding assistants responsibly while retaining ownership of quality, security, and correctness.
