Base Salary
$145k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance, reliable, mission-critical software for satellite command.
- Take full ownership of features across backend and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define software requirements and architectures.
- Continuously assess the tech landscape and advocate for system improvements.
- Mentor teammates and share knowledge to raise the technical bar.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Understanding of databases such as Postgres.
- Experience with pub/sub and streaming systems like RabbitMQ and Flink.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact features in a collaborative environment.
