Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using VB.NET and C#.
- Maintain, migrate, and modernize legacy VB6 applications while preserving system stability.
- Use AI-powered programming tools to optimize coding, debugging, and testing.
- Lead architecture sessions and code reviews to enforce software engineering best practices.
- Mentor developers and promote technical excellence and professional growth.
- Resolve complex defects and performance issues.
- Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Professional experience with VB.NET, C#, and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Experience maintaining, migrating, and modernizing legacy VB6 applications.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with database development using MariaDB and SQL Server.
- Experience with version control using GitHub.
- Effective use of AI-powered assistants and programming tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Preferred: experience with Node.js, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Xamarin, RESTful APIs, and Azure.
