Base Salary
$129k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, evolve, stabilize, and operate the OpenStack virtualization platform.
- Own end-to-end lifecycle automation to reduce manual intervention and improve infrastructure reliability.
- Develop observability frameworks and telemetry pipelines for proactive issue resolution and performance monitoring.
- Build tenant-facing functionality that simplifies internal developers’ use of cloud resources.
- Develop Python tools to support platform integration and service operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience with a public cloud such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- At least 1 year of experience working with Docker.
- At least 1 year of experience working with CI/CD or DevOps systems.
- Preferred: professional experience managing and operating OpenStack platforms and designing distributed software systems.
- Preferred: proficiency with Cisco Intersight, UCS Manager, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Preferred: expertise in Linux administration, network administration, and specialized Linux networking configurations.
- Preferred: background in virtualization technologies and containerization platforms.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python programming and developing platform integration and service-operation tools.
Benefits
- Starting salary range of $128,600.00 to $184,900.00 for U.S. and/or Canada locations, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
