Product Security Engineer, Senior

Responsibilities
- Provide security advisory and strategic guidance for large-scale cloud initiatives and enterprise architectures.
- Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement secure solutions that balance functional and security requirements.
- Partner with Product Business Information Security Officers to prioritize risk-based security initiatives and shape security roadmaps.
- Analyze risk signals and emerging threats and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Require 5–8 years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or security assurance.
- Require experience securing products and infrastructure in one or more public cloud environments, including understanding of cloud service models, shared responsibility, and identity primitives.
- Require experience with security design reviews, threat modeling, common vulnerability classes, and communicating security risk.
- Require knowledge of authentication, authorization, network security, key management, certificate lifecycles, secrets handling, and encryption standards.
- Require strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence engineering teams without direct authority.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with abuse cases, attack paths, penetration testing, offensive security, secure development lifecycle improvements, structured data analysis, and cloud-native code, container, PKI, posture management, vulnerability scanning, static analysis, or infrastructure-as-code security tools.

- The stated base salary range is $148,500–$223,900 annually, or $178,900–$246,000 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas; compensation figures are excluded from benefits classification.
