Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Interface with Raptor customers worldwide and coordinate integration of Raptor software into their system architectures.
- Provide technical guidance, travel to customer sites, and support customer adoption and field integration testing.
- Configure Jetson and Raspberry Pi companion computers, PX4 and ArduPilot autopilot stacks, and analyze telemetry, imagery, and positioning data.
- Characterize product software performance and translate customer experiences into technical requirements for product improvements.
- Generate technical designs using satellite imagery and full-motion video for UAS visual positioning, odometry, and navigation.
- Develop, document, and communicate technical and system requirements to the product engineering team.
- Contribute code within the product engineering development process.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and GTM/sales teams to define and validate interfaces and data flows between Raptor products and OEM systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline such as aerospace, computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting ISR, UAS, aerospace, or defense system integrations.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and shell scripting.
- Experience with cross-compilation, toolchains, embedded systems, SoCs, SBCs, and low-level Linux troubleshooting and configuration.
- Experience with system design across hardware and software, networking, communication protocols, and customer-facing solution design.
- Knowledge of serial communication, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi networking.
- Strong communication skills and sound judgment in customer communications.
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer vision, software engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes video formats and streaming protocols, multimedia frameworks, GIS systems, image processing, computer vision, cameras and optics, aerial navigation, UAS hardware and software, and embedded Linux or edge-compute platforms.
- Preferred experience includes NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm-based SoCs, Raspberry Pi, PX4, and ArduPilot.
