Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security strategies, policies, procedures, and controls for SaaS applications and cloud environments.
  • Monitor and respond to cloud security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Define technical security requirements involving IAM, security groups, data protection, Kubernetes, SIEM integrations, and cloud workloads.
  • Research, design, and implement cloud security solutions aligned with NIST and Cloud Security Alliance guidance.
  • Develop and deploy infrastructure-as-code scripts to implement and optimize cloud security controls.
  • Support cloud transformation projects and provide hands-on implementation of security technologies and processes.
  • Perform cloud security maintenance, including patches, upgrades, enhancements, break-fix support, and improvements.
  • Investigate, document, and report information security issues and emerging cloud security trends.
  • Optimize automation solutions for performance and reliability and provide project metrics and updates.
  • Maintain security procedures and documentation and participate in meetings, training, compliance activities, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in information security, security programs, security engineering, or security architecture in complex enterprise environments.
  • 0–2 years of hands-on experience designing, configuring, and implementing enterprise cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, Oracle, and other major cloud providers.
  • At least 1 year of practical experience working on a DevSecOps team.
  • Experience with cloud deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell, including JSON.
  • Experience with cloud adoption blueprints, patterns, guidelines, and compliance frameworks such as SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, GDPR, and SOC 1/2.
  • Knowledge of security methodologies, processes, and solutions including Prisma Cloud, Wiz, container security, McAfee CASB, SIEM, QRadar, Splunk, IAM, and Palo Alto workload protection.
  • Bachelor’s degree or BTech in Computer Science.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organization, time-management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
