Responsibilities
- Design and develop reusable, scalable microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
- Perform full-stack development with attention to design and code quality.
- Select and implement appropriate persistence mechanisms such as RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Develop in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment using Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Implement coding best practices and program code-quality gates.
- Conduct proofs of concept based on business needs.
- Coordinate with Mastercard groups to support project success.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment.
- Provide technical mentoring and training for junior developers.
- Follow information security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete mandatory security training.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Full-stack development skills and product development knowledge.
- Experience developing online or real-time systems.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and digital-native architecture is desirable.
- Experience with event-driven architecture is advantageous.
- Strong communication, learning, and technical mentoring skills.
