Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and maintain engineering security services, code, and configurations using version control.
- Analyze systems and business processes to design and implement security solutions aligned with technical and business requirements.
- Lead the technical design, development, testing, and debugging of security programs and scripts.
- Monitor system performance, alerts, and vulnerabilities and implement improvements.
- Maintain third-party software and hardware changes while collaborating with cross-functional engineering and security teams.
- Communicate project status, technical findings, and security issues to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and five years of information technology experience within the past 10 years, or seven years of information technology or related experience within the past 10 years.
- Experience in information security engineering and vulnerability management within software development environments.
- Proficiency in application security practices, including Dynamic Application Security Testing and Static Application Security Testing.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle processes and security integration throughout development.
- Expertise in automation and scripting, particularly Python.
- Experience with version control software for code and configuration management.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, design security solutions, troubleshoot issues, and resolve security incidents.
- Preferred qualifications include security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GCIH, GCED, GSEC, GCIA, GISP, or Security+, technical team leadership, mainframe or SAP experience, programming experience, SQL knowledge, and accessibility knowledge including WCAG 2.2 AA and assistive technologies.
