Base Salary
$70k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams to strengthen enterprise resiliency capabilities.
- Evaluate applications and platforms for resiliency, recoverability, and operational readiness.
- Provide architectural guidance across requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Assess and recommend backup, recovery, restoration, and disaster recovery approaches.
- Identify resiliency gaps and develop strategic improvement roadmaps.
- Contribute to cloud and infrastructure architecture decisions and support resilient application and data architectures across distributed environments.
- Establish governance and controls addressing application vulnerabilities, performance, and system resiliency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of equivalent experience.
- At least seven years of technical experience as an architect, principal engineer, lead engineer, or similar senior technical professional.
- At least one year of professional experience with Java and containerized applications such as Spring Boot and Docker.
- At least one year of professional scripting experience with Terraform, Python, or Ansible.
- Preferred experience with infrastructure as code, AWS or GCP, application performance monitoring and observability, relational and NoSQL databases, resilient API architectures, and enterprise recovery or business continuity programs.
- Preferred experience in banking, financial services, regulated industries, complex environments, and application or infrastructure recovery.
- Familiarity with generative AI for intelligent automation, incident analysis, and knowledge-driven resiliency support.
