Responsibilities
- Partner with design and product management leaders to shape the team’s vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Lead architectural changes, hiring-process improvements, engineering-effectiveness initiatives, and post-mortem processes.
- Provide technical leadership and drive software development for a broadly scoped engineering team.
- Mentor team members, set expectations, and help them take on larger workstreams.
- Build and operationalize tools, monitors, and processes that improve engineering quality and excellence.
- Develop scalable and extendable core services used across multiple products.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Experience building customer-facing products.
- Experience with systems operating at significant technical and organizational scale.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience building projects with strong abstractions and architecture.
- Comfort developing scalable and extendable core services used across many products.
