Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and improve cloud security infrastructure solutions across Via’s AWS environment.
- Secure and optimize cloud services, infrastructure, and applications.
- Automate security controls and operational workflows across cloud environments.
- Support AI Security initiatives and secure AI adoption.
- Leverage AI-driven security technologies for improved operational efficiency.
- Set up and maintain log management and response systems.
- Operate and enhance SecOps infrastructure and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with SOC and Application Security teams to strengthen security processes.
- Support secure DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows.
- Evaluate and maintain security products and cloud security tools.
- Promote a strong security culture through awareness and best practices.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or a related role.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS cloud security, IAM, and secure infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes best practices.
- Curiosity about AI and its intersection with security.
- Passion for security and commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong team player with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
