Base Salary
$125k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test scripts for IT data projects.
- Perform database testing and SQL-based data validation, as well as API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Evaluate testing strategies, analyze complex data-related issues, and recommend improvements.
- Identify, triage, document, and communicate incidents involving internal data systems.
- Oversee issue tracking and prioritize defects using knowledge of the organization’s data ecosystem.
- Use Leapwork and Selenium for test automation and maintain complete platform test coverage.
- Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve software defects.
- Drive CI/CD practices, version control, Git branching strategies, and pipeline management using Azure DevOps.
- Champion QA best practices, team collaboration, and continuous improvement in testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Six years of experience as a software quality assurance engineer or in a related occupation.
- Six years of experience analyzing complex issues and variable data factors and applying an integrated understanding of organizational data ecosystems.
- Six years of experience scripting with Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Six years of experience with Leapwork and Selenium test automation.
- Six years of experience with database testing and writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Six years of experience with CI/CD, DevOps integration, Git, version control systems, and Git branching strategies.
- Six years of experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
