Responsibilities
- Design and execute a multi-year application and platform security roadmap.
- Harden AWS and Kubernetes environments focusing on IAM and network segmentation.
- Strengthen authentication and application-layer defenses.
- Build out the security observability stack including audit logging and threat detection.
- Embed security into the SDLC with CI/CD gates and threat modeling.
- Evaluate and adopt AI-powered security tooling.
- Prioritize security work in collaboration with the security lead.
- Serve as a trusted security resource for engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in application security or a related field.
- Hands-on expertise in cloud security, IAM, Kubernetes, and network security.
- Understanding of AI's impact on security threats and defenses.
- Ability to perform threat modeling and influence engineering design.
- Strong communication skills to convey security risks effectively.
- Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
