Responsibilities
- Define test objectives, clarify requirements, and align quality goals with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Design, organize, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases with appropriate coverage and traceability.
- Perform system, integration, regression, exploratory, API, UAT, and cross-platform testing.
- Manage defects, conduct root cause analysis, collaborate on resolutions, and communicate quality risks.
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and share testing best practices.
- Improve QA tools, methodologies, processes, and testing workflows across teams.
- Coordinate UAT, client training, client sign-off, and production readiness.
- Maintain test reports, release notes, and QA documentation throughout the testing lifecycle.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with API testing, including tools such as Postman.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira, X-Ray, Azure, TestRail, or Aqua.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing test failures and improving test coverage.
- Experience performing manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly through effective prompting, critical validation, and ownership of final results.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong written and verbal communication skills.
