Responsibilities
- Own the relationship, project plan, roadmap, business discussions, and technical scoping for a portfolio of technology partners.
- Lead strategic and technical conversations with partner business, product, and engineering leaders.
- Assess technical feasibility and effort, shape joint pitches and roadmaps, and document integration opportunities.
- Define architectures, API surfaces, data flows, and integration points for partner integrations and MCP-based solutions.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept, produce implementation-ready technical documentation, and support partner or Sanity R&D build and launch activities.
- Review partner-built integrations for code quality, security posture, API usage, architecture, and customer value.
- Evaluate AI product surfaces and identify technical opportunities for Sanity’s content platform within AI-native partner stacks.
- Provide technical assets and partner insights to R&D, Product, Solutions Architecture, and Sales Engineering.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or technical partner/integration professional.
- Track record of scoping technical integrations, handing them off to build teams, and managing related partner relationships.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, webhooks, modern AI/developer tools, and prototyping in partner or third-party codebases.
- Working knowledge of AI and LLM concepts and hands-on experience with the Model Context Protocol framework.
- Ability to translate between strategic business discussions and technical feasibility with business and product leaders.
- Strong technical writing skills for turning scoping discussions into buildable specifications.
- Ability to work independently across ambiguous and well-scoped problems.
- Preferred experience reviewing or auditing third-party integrations for security or architecture.
- Preferred experience with headless CMS or headless commerce integration patterns, developer relations, technical partnerships, or Sanity.
