Responsibilities
- Engineer automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle processes, access certifications, Separation of Duties controls, and identity governance frameworks.
- Design and scale authentication and authorization across cloud, SaaS, and on-premise environments using federation protocols and Zero Trust practices.
- Lead identity integration strategies for mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Configure identity integrations, write RBAC policies, engineer identity governance platforms, and troubleshoot access flows hands-on.
- Create self-service identity workflows, automated controls, identity KPIs, and policy-as-code governance mechanisms.
- Partner with engineering, commercial, IT, application, cloud platform, infrastructure, detection and response, HR, and enterprise applications teams.
- Mentor engineers, document systems, and drive adoption of identity security changes across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven track record designing, building, or scaling identity and access programs in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on experience with workforce identity systems, Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes, Separation of Duties, access certifications, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth2, SCIM, RBAC, ABAC, and enterprise identity platforms.
- Ability to balance least-privilege security with business usability and independently drive enterprise identity strategy and access troubleshooting.
- Strong mentoring, leadership, documentation, organization, negotiation, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
- Preferred experience with identity and access requirements in regulated environments, including PCI-DSS, SOX, or SOC 2.
- Familiarity with machine identity governance, secrets management, and API access is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications are preferred.
