Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and design and develop embedded software and test suites for automotive powertrain systems.
- Propose technical solutions for customer needs and technical issues in the automotive domain.
- Document software designs and design changes resulting from evolving customer requirements.
- Develop and execute unit, functional, and integration tests and prepare integration test plans.
- Research technologies and methods to improve automotive system performance.
- Integrate software components and analyze and configure software and hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a relevant major.
- 4–7 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Good C programming skills.
- Exposure to microcontrollers or microprocessors, RTOS, automation control, and testing with a debugger.
- Good English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Japanese proficiency at N4 level or above is an optional advantage.
