Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to the Databricks Platform.
- Provide best-practice guidance for custom-built customer solutions.
- Recommend performance improvements for customer-specific environments.
- Assist with third-party integration issues involving Databricks environments.
- Coordinate with engineering and escalation teams to resolve customer issues and requests.
- Create and maintain company documentation and knowledge articles.
- Support customers in achieving strategic value from Databricks products.
- Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
- Build Databricks, AWS, and Azure expertise through internal learning and training programs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining applications using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Expert-level Python knowledge is desired.
- Strong experience with SQL-based databases is required.
- Linux/Unix administration skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience in distributed big data computing environments.
- Technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Written and spoken proficiency in both Japanese and English.
