Responsibilities
- Develop scalable frontend software products using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and interactive user interfaces.
- Define solutions for assigned projects and deliver team-level goals on schedule.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write unit tests for UI components and apply software development best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with AWS services such as S3 and CloudFront.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and engineering managers.
- Monitor frontend technology trends and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Mentor new hires, interns, or junior engineers as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience, specifically in frontend development.
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience implementing UI designs accurately and building responsive, cross-browser-compatible interfaces.
- Experience writing unit tests with Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of AWS frontend services such as S3 and CloudFront.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and frontend performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and experience using Git are preferred.
- Backend API experience, serverless architecture knowledge, cloud computing familiarity, or fintech/startup experience are preferred.
