Responsibilities
- Design and build software solutions for Amazon’s worldwide selling partners using product-level involvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and operate large-scale cloud-based distributed services with millisecond latency and high transactional volume.
- Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, and scalable architecture techniques to multi-tier systems.
- Build Native-AI solutions and experiment with technologies needed to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with senior and principal engineers, researchers, and data engineers to design supply-chain optimization platforms.
- Expand supply-chain systems, automate third-party supply-management systems, and improve inventory movement across Amazon marketplaces.
- Communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Improve team coding practices related to software quality and security.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
