Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own internal automation systems end to end, from ambiguous operational problems through production deployment.
- Build a coherent, queryable data layer across CRM, product usage, billing, call recordings, support history, and third-party enrichment systems.
- Design and operate unattended AI agent workflows for research, enrichment, drafting, summarization, data entry, and systems hygiene.
- Build evaluations, guardrails, monitoring, provisioning, onboarding, and account setup systems for production reliability.
- Integrate third-party systems and automate customer lifecycle workflows.
- Instrument automation to measure hours returned, error rates, cycle time, and overall impact.
- Protect company and customer data through secure, compliant, reliable integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience shipping and operating production backend systems end to end.
- Strong TypeScript experience for backend services and APIs.
- Hands-on experience deploying and running production services on GCP or an equivalent cloud stack.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Production experience with LLM prompting, tool and function calling, retrieval, agent workflows, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, including authentication, rate limits, pagination, webhooks, and data reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of asynchronous patterns, background jobs, scheduling, retries, idempotency, logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate stakeholder workflows into shipped requirements without a detailed specification.
- Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality software autonomously in unstructured, fast-moving environments.
- Demonstrated passion for AI agents and automation through systems built.
- Working proficiency in Java, Python, or another second language is a plus.
- Interest in corporate finance and capital markets is a strong plus.
