Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build a scalable enterprise AI platform supporting LLMs, agentic workflows, and federated development.
- Define architectural standards and reusable cloud-native patterns for AI governance, security, evaluation, operational excellence, microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first design.
- Architect enterprise-scale workloads on Google Cloud Platform and build CI/CD pipelines that deploy automatically to the cloud while interfacing with legacy systems.
- Provide architecture guidance, governance, reviews, and standards across engineering teams.
- Balance strategic platform vision with hands-on implementation and enable teams to add components, agents, and functionality.
- Establish the enterprise AI platform vision, improve scalability, security, observability, and operational efficiency, and accelerate governed AI adoption.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise software platforms at scale.
- Deep Google Cloud Platform expertise, including Google Cloud services, semantics, and AI capabilities; Vertex AI experience is preferred.
- Experience building production AI platforms supporting product use cases, including agentic frameworks, LLMs, and orchestration.
- Experience developing production evaluation loops for monitoring and tuning AI systems is highly preferred.
- Expertise in event-driven architecture and distributed systems, with understanding of microservices and APIs.
- Knowledge of platform security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Proficiency in Python, plus experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across multiple engineering organizations.
