Responsibilities
- Advise AI companies on global payments, billing, real-time metering, and monetization strategies.
- Architect custom solutions for experimental products, evolving pricing models, APIs, agents, and workflows.
- Support implementation and activation of Stripe payments, Stripe Billing, and usage-based billing solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, marketing, partners, and professional services to address customer needs and product gaps.
- Engage AI founders and technical stakeholders through technical demonstrations, hackathons, meetups, and executive-level discussions.
- Provide competitive intelligence and help position Stripe as a strategic monetization partner for AI businesses.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles focused on solution architecture and best practices.
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales.
- Strong technical acumen in API integrations, real-time data processing, and cloud-based architectures.
- Executive presence and the ability to build credibility with decision makers, founders, and engineers.
- Experience in payments, billing, invoicing, issuing, banking, or fintech.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Passion for AI industry trends and monetization strategies.
- Preferred: experience with AI companies or AI business models, usage-based billing expertise, and a record of solving complex billing or AI problems.
