Responsibilities
- Develop new features and tools for primarily desktop-based applications, including design, documentation, implementation, and testing.
- Work across UI, UX, architecture, business logic, and data layers, including UI layout and interface development.
- Analyze and resolve software defects and make architectural changes for new features.
- Develop project estimates and timelines and evaluate opportunity costs during decision-making.
- Analyze and further develop requirements while anticipating customer and product needs.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments and disciplines on individual and team projects.
- Support software development throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in either C# or C++ and understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Experience or desire to work with .NET, MSSQL, and C# in the Microsoft technology stack.
- Experience creating or maintaining architectural interfaces such as RESTful APIs and WCF contracts.
- Experience with SQL database design principles and Entity Framework.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Angular 5 or later.
- Familiarity with CI/CD build processes, version control, preferably Git, agile development methodologies, and Scrum.
- Ability to communicate with other business areas and work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience deploying and supporting software on standalone robotics platforms is preferred.
