Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
- Evaluate security architectures, provide guidance, and troubleshoot security issues.
- Support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for information systems.
- Assess actual-state information against security requirements and help define desired states and risk thresholds.
- Advise leaders and clients on security objectives, doctrine, procedures, and information assurance requirements.
- Evaluate applications, software, and utility programs for adherence to software assurance best practices.
- Research and recommend tools and capabilities for Risk Management Framework requirements across on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid environments.
Requirements
- Experience developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
- Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment using JIRA.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within six months of hire.
- Preferred: experience with the software development life cycle and cloud technologies.
- Preferred: leadership, client relationship, interpersonal, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred: existing Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification.
