Base Salary
$208k - $312k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts across multiple channels, including managed SOC escalations.
- Maintain security visibility and logging infrastructure and ensure effective SIEM operations.
- Support PCI, SOC2, ISO, and other security compliance audits by gathering evidence and collaborating with Engineering, GRC, and Security teams.
- Develop and deploy new detections and security tooling while managing key security partners.
- Conduct security investigations, respond to incidents and urgent requests, and improve the on-call process.
- Manage and enhance email security, endpoint security posture, GitHub administration practices, and internal security tooling.
- Help the business navigate risk-based changes and continuously improve the corporate security framework.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in security operations, including SIEM management, security logging, and detection engineering.
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with GitHub administration and security controls.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and security investigations.
- Hands-on incident response experience covering detection, triage, and remediation.
- Strong endpoint management skills across Mac, Windows, and Linux.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, Python or Bash, and one compiled language, Rust or Go.
- Familiarity with serverless functions and API security is a plus.
- Experience with managed SOC providers and security automation platforms is a bonus.
- Experience in high-growth, cloud-native environments is a bonus.
