Base Salary
$82k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control tests and analyze results to ensure software meets standards and end-user requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop testing strategies and scenarios.
- Develop test plans, schedules, and testing effort estimates with leads or managers.
- Design, script, and maintain automated tests and test environments using C#.
- Plan and execute diagnostic, load, stress, and other tests; document test results and procedures.
- Debug software and maintain quality standards through systematic testing and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- BS or MS in computer science or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of enterprise software QA experience.
- Experience testing both on-premises and cloud-based applications, including enterprise applications, APIs, and backend services on Linux servers.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience developing and maintaining C# automation scripts.
- Experience with Docker or related containerization technology and Kubernetes or related orchestration software.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot; hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools is desired.
- Experience with load, stress, and performance testing is desired.
- Exposure to Playwright and experience with GitLab are desired.
- Ability to analyze information, draw accurate conclusions, prepare test reports, and apply QA methodology and product development lifecycle knowledge.
