Base Salary
$107k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks.
- Develop prompts, evaluation frameworks, model pipelines, and reusable tooling for LLM monitoring and observability.
- Architect and implement end-to-end solutions, including Angular or React frontends and backend APIs and services.
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems using cloud-native and microservices architectures.
- Lead technical design discussions and drive scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Mentor and guide engineers and promote innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Apply software engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and security.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience delivering scalable, production-grade applications.
- At least 5 years of backend development experience, including API development with Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with GCP and RKE, plus Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
- Strong understanding of Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Generative AI or LLM-based systems, including prompt engineering, RAG, LLM evaluation, and AI-enabled applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include model fine-tuning, multi-model or multi-provider AI orchestration, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, LLM observability, evaluation pipelines, guardrails, frontend performance optimization, event-driven systems, message queues, streaming systems, and healthcare or regulated-domain experience.
