Production Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions that improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and automated testing tools.
- Collaborate with software and production teams to improve automation and integration.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide product enhancement feedback to design teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and triage production, product, and process issues.
- Lead system architecture designs for technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, accountability, and ownership skills.
- Experience driving strategic design of scalable system architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, hardware testing and automated test systems experience, hardware-software integration knowledge, data analysis and performance monitoring experience, and high-volume manufacturing experience.
- Experience with SQL/databases, C, C++, JavaScript, and Nix is preferred.
