Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain C++-based applications and backend systems.
- Build software supporting data processing, visualization, and system control.
- Analyze and improve software performance, latency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineering teams.
- Support software integration, testing, and deployment in operational environments.
- Contribute to application, middleware, real-time, and high-throughput system capabilities.
- Develop and improve systems and features end-to-end.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited school.
- Two to eight years of software development experience across the stated qualification paths.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Huntsville–North Alabama, Alabama area.
- Experience with C++ or a similar systems-level programming language, Linux-based systems, higher-level user application development, and performance-sensitive, distributed, or systems-oriented applications.
- Experience with multithreaded or concurrent programming and the ability to work across different layers of the software stack.
- Preferred experience with messaging frameworks such as ZeroMQ, containerization and CI/CD pipelines, radar/RF/sensor systems, and MATLAB or similar analysis or prototyping tools.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, learning, and collaboration skills.
