Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize software for deploying machine-learning models on NVIDIA Jetson and Thor edge devices.
- Build scalable Python/C++ APIs and microservices connecting edge devices with cloud backends.
- Design and manage real-time image, video, and model-telemetry data pipelines using Google Cloud tools, BigQuery, and Postgres.
- Create React/TypeScript web dashboards for system-health monitoring and AI-driven insight visualization.
- Use agentic AI and LLM-assisted workflows to accelerate development and maintain code quality.
- Collaborate with data scientists to containerize models and with hardware engineers to validate factory-floor performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
- Proven experience deploying software to edge computing hardware or IoT devices.
- Strong Python proficiency and proficiency in at least one of C++, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience building on Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure, including managed database services.
- Experience building responsive web applications with React or similar modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Experience with OpenCV, TensorRT, or OpenVINO for vision optimization.
- Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of MQTT and WebSockets for real-time data streaming.
- Passion for agentic workflows and continuous improvement.
