Responsibilities

Establish and promote standards for designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive automated tests.
Coordinate testing processes, methodologies, and test strategy rollouts across multiple business units.
Guide the development and adoption of automated tests and frameworks for functional, regression, performance, load, and other quality requirements.
Coordinate testing infrastructure and support observability, rapid feedback, and standardized testing tools and frameworks.
Develop test plans, facilitate exploratory testing, and establish standardized quality metrics.
Compile and analyze test results into reports and dashboards for development teams and stakeholders.
Identify quality and coverage improvements and partner with teams to resolve issues.
Mentor and guide QA team members organization-wide without direct supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with proven QA Lead or similar coordination-focused experience.
Experience testing and analyzing modern web-based architectures, ideally in web microservices environments.
In-depth knowledge of quality standards, agile methodologies, and the software development lifecycle as applied to QA coordination.
Proficiency in a programming language such as TypeScript or Python for developing and maintaining automated test suites and manipulating test data.
Familiarity with modern software tools and frameworks used in web microservices development.
Advanced investigative and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues, bugs, and quality metrics.
Strong mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills across development, DevOps, and stakeholder teams.
