Responsibilities
- Participate in technical projects and complete assigned tasks supporting team objectives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
- Perform hands-on technical assignments and collaborate with experienced team members.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support best-practice implementation.
- Participate in workshops and cross-functional activities to learn about the business and company culture.
Requirements
- Be a sophomore, junior, or senior in college or technical school with at least six months remaining until graduation after the internship.
- Be currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing engineering, computer science, or a related technical degree.
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Have strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Be detail-oriented and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the active clearance requirement.
- Preferred qualifications include prior technical or engineering work experience, familiarity with aerospace and defense, basic CAD or MATLAB knowledge, Microsoft Access skills, and an engineering-related degree.
