Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the SCORE team to design and implement a centralized branding backend service for eSign and related experiences.
- Build and evolve RESTful and gRPC APIs for defining, retrieving, validating, and applying branding configurations.
- Migrate branding computation from legacy components into an Azure-based service using MSF patterns and standards.
- Improve branding validation so customers can preview and verify configurations before production application.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for branding APIs and workflows.
- Partner with adjacent product and engineering teams to support reuse of branding data across products.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint ceremonies, and mentor feedback sessions.
- Write documentation for services, APIs, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May/June 2028.
- Experience with programming fundamentals and at least one backend language such as C#, Java, or Go.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with HTTP, REST, web services, and basic API design.
- Availability for Docusign’s hybrid Seattle internship program and required in-office days.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, backend service development, Azure, deployment pipelines, monitoring, scalability, gRPC or other RPC frameworks, and relational or NoSQL data stores.
- Preferred prior internship, research, or significant project experience with production-adjacent systems or developer platforms.
- Ability to collaborate, accept feedback, and communicate clearly.
