Base Salary
$95k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and networking components.
- Integrate software components and subsystems across cloud, Windows, and Linux environments.
- Build and manage Docker and Kubernetes containerized environments, especially AWS EKS.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and scripting automation for provisioning, integration, and deployment workflows.
- Perform black box and grey box testing to validate functionality and identify defects.
- Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
- Write technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration guides, and configuration records.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, verify system requirements, and support configuration management and version control.
- Support cybersecurity compliance through IAM policy management, encryption, and secure cloud configurations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field, plus relevant experience; alternatively, a master's degree with relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience working with AWS cloud services.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience administering both Windows and Linux systems and understanding networking fundamentals.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS certification, AWS EKS/ECS/Fargate experience, infrastructure-as-code experience, AWS monitoring and logging familiarity, virtualization experience, cybersecurity knowledge, SQL query experience, AWS cost optimization knowledge, DoD or AWS GovCloud familiarity, and cloud architecture or systems integration coursework, certifications, or project experience.
