Sr. Full-Stack Developer (Python & Java)

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for the Securities-Based Lending platform.
- Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python, FastAPI, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Develop modern web applications using Angular and/or React with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Deploy secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Design, implement, and maintain microservices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, peer code reviews, and engineering standards improvements.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and API testing across backend services, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Scrum Masters, UX partners, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support junior engineer development through mentorship and collaboration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
- Strong commercial experience developing software with Python and FastAPI.
- Commercial experience developing enterprise applications with Java and Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Frontend development experience with Angular or React and strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills, plus working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other enterprise relational databases.
- Experience using Git and developing cloud-native applications on AWS, including ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated unit, integration, and API tests within CI/CD environments.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, written English, and verbal English skills.
- Desirable experience includes Flask, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Nomad, Helm, Clojure, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, OpenAPI, OAuth2/JWT, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and financial services or banking platforms.
