Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable internal software and reliability engineering tooling.
- Own the development, testing, deployment, and operational support lifecycle for applications.
- Automate infrastructure, monitoring, operational processes, and test cases using custom code and scripts.
- Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and proactive responses for site health and production issues.
- Execute destructive, performance, and failure-scenario testing to validate production resiliency and operational readiness.
- Document, review, and maintain operational procedures, quality standards, and change-control requirements.
- Collaborate with UX, engineering, product management, developers, SREs, and operations teams.
- Configure and modify commercial off-the-shelf solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in systems, software, operational engineering, or reliability engineering.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field, or equivalent qualifying background.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes and production Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
- Experience with Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Bash; relational or NoSQL database queries; and version control systems.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD processes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes or GKE.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience leveraging AI for productivity, including prompt engineering and building custom AI agents and skills.
- Understanding of microservice architectures, SLOs, SRE principles, debugging, root cause analysis, and operational readiness testing.
- Ability to communicate operational status, provide real-time stakeholder reporting, document procedures, and collaborate effectively.
