Responsibilities
- Define and own the Quality Engineering strategy across DataOps, Edge, Visualization, Packaging, and IAM.
- Establish governance for functional, non-functional, and regression test coverage.
- Implement automation-first and shift-left practices with CI/CD-integrated testing and continuous quality validation.
- Coordinate development and reuse of Golden Test Packs and acceptance packs with Platform, APM, and Domain teams.
- Mentor QE engineers and build a specialist-driven quality engineering culture.
- Validate compliance, security, and performance baselines and ensure they are measurable.
- Engage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to align quality outcomes with business KPIs.
Requirements
- 15+ years of Quality Engineering experience, including 3–5 years in a lead or architect role.
- Experience with platform, IIoT, or industrial software solutions, including environments such as ABB, Honeywell, AspenTech, or GE Digital.
- Knowledge of testing strategies, quality governance, automation frameworks, and building quality engineering teams.
- Experience integrating CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Practical experience with PyTest, Playwright, JMeter, SQL, and KQL.
- Understanding of industrial data flows, including DataOps, Edge, OT/IT adapters, and IAM security.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards and strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Demonstrated measurable outcomes such as more than 90% QE automation coverage and 100% governance adoption.
